The Tyson-Hoffer Lot
The Front Street Tour
This building replaced the original Tyson-Hoffer building, which burned in 1903. The second floor housed the dental offices of the Gette Family from about 1930 through the late 1980s. Hoffer's Novelty Store occupied the building for decades, and a series of businesses followed the drug store, including Maurer Hardware and the C & M Dairy Store. It has lately undergone a complete restoration and now has upstairs apartments and street-level commercial space.
